Getting Here:

One thing that makes Anegada special is it often thought to be difficult to get here. As a result we do not get the crowds that other islands have.

There are several options for arriving here.

By Ferry:

Smith's Ferry

Departure Times:

Road Town, Tortola at 7:00 am and 3:30 pm - $50.00/person (round trip)

Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda at 7:30 am and 4:00 pm - $65.00/person (round trip)

Setting Point Anchorage at 8:30 am and 5:00 pm

Depending on the boat used, the ride can be an hour to hour and a half

There are special ferry runs on the last Sunday of every month from Road Town departing at 9:30 am & returning at 5:00 pm. This run does not generally stop in Virgin Gorda, but will stop in Spanish Town for groups of 10 or more if you call in advance. Please phone for for reservations.

By Air:

There is no longer commercial air service to Anegada, contrary to some web sites, Claro Air folded in 2006.

However there are several options for charter service which in many cases is cheaper than flights to Beef Island and taking the ferry, which often results in overnight stays on Tortola.

Caribbean Wings offers "Scheduled charters" on Friday and Sundays for $218.00 plus 5% fuel surcharge from San Juan (SJU), other days are also available at different rates.
